Keating Kills His Hand
Level 8
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Table 5 was in a convoluted discussion about geography and ex-girlfriends when Alex Keating raised in middle position and was called by Daniel Lee on the button and Sean Jazayeri and Nick Palma in the blinds.
Keating continued for 5,000 on the flop of 7♣10♣J♦ and only Lee called. Keating then bet 10,000 on the 2♥ turn as Palma started telling Justin Young he was "going to switch teams soon if things keep going the way they are." The table then got silent as Lee raised to 25,000 and Keating called.
Keating checked on the 3♣ river and Lee moved all in to send his opponent into a deep tank. Palma eventually spoke up again, this time to call the clock, and Keating let his hand die as the clock reached zero.
