Kornuth Calls Off to Nicholls
Level 17
: Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Chance Kornuth was under the gun with a bet of 47,000 in front of him on a board of 6♣2♣3♥J♥, while Kai Nicholls moved all in from the cutoff.
Kornuth tanked for several minutes, burning through multiple time banks before he called for his last 280,000. He showed J♠10♣ for top pair, but Nicholls had A♣J♣ and was ahead with his ace-kicker.
The river was the 4♥ and Nicholls took the pot to send Kornuth to the rail.
