Boivin Trips Up Berk in Massive Pot
Level 29
: Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
"What am I going to do? Stick it in and hope for the best," Gal Yifrach said as he raised to 1,000,000 in the hijack. The rest of the table folded and he took the blinds and ante.
Michael Berk then limped in from the small blind and Thomas Boivin raised to 300,000 in the big blind. Berk came back with a reraise to 1,000,000, and Boivin called.
Berk checked the Q♦Q♠6♥ flop and Boivin bet 400,000. Berk called to the 8♥ turn, where Boivin bet another 750,000. Berk took his time before calling once more.
Both players checked the 4♥ river and Boivin turned over K♣Q♣ for trips. Berk tossed two jacks into the muck as Boivin opened up a massive chip lead.
