Martirosian Hits Dream Turn to Bust Leblond
Level 5
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
From under the gun, Artur Martirosian checked the 8♥8♦9♣ flop, and Benjamin Leblond bet 5,500 from the button. After thinking how to proceed, Martirosian chose the most aggressive option as he check-raised to 17,000. Leblond made the call.
Martirosian continued with a bet of 15,000 upon seeing the 3♦ turn. Leblond jammed for about 60,000 and Martirosian snap-called.
Benjamin Leblond: J♦J♥
Artur Martirosian: 3♣3♠
The seemingly innocuous turn card was actually the dream for Martirosian as he improved to a disguised full house. Leblond couldn't find any help on the 7♥ river, and he wished the players good luck as he headed to the rail.
