Day 2 began with 97 players chasing a share of the $5,000,000 guaranteed prize pool, and the money bubble burst before the dinner break when Daniel Mizrachi was forced all in from the big blind and fell to Chen. The top 76 finishers secured a minimum of $17,000, but many had their eyes set much higher.
Among those to make a cash but fall short of the final table were a host of big names, including WSOP Main Event champion & Poker Hall of Famer Michael Mizrachi (38th – $23,000), his brother Eric Mizrachi (32nd – $27,000), and Day 1 chip leader Michael Allen (15th – $45,000). Other notables to bow out included Boris Kolev (14th – $45,000), Christopher Puetz (11th – $68,000), and Armin Rezaei, who bubbled the final table in tenth place for $68,000.
The nine remaining players are each guaranteed $85,000, but all eyes are on the $1,000,000 top prize and the prestigious GG Million$ title. The runner-up will collect $650,000, while a third-place finish is worth $415,000. Other payouts include $292,000 for fourth, $212,000 for fifth, $160,000 for sixth, $127,000 for seventh, and $102,000 for eighth, ensuring that every elimination at the final table will come with a significant pay jump.

Armin Rezaei shoved from under the gun for 1,390,000 and Moussa Ahmad called on the button.
Armin Rezaei: K♠J♦
Moussa Ahmad: A♣7♦
Ahmad was looking to eliminate Rezaei at the second time of asking, but the K♣Q♦7♠ flop had other ideas as Rezaei made top pair.
However, the 7♣ on the turn gave Ahmad trips, which left Rezaei with just two outs. None of those outs appeaered on the 9♥ river, and Rezaei was out in tenth, ending play for the day.

From the button, Weiran Pu made it 325,000, and Moussa Ahmad called from the big blind.
Ahmad knuckled the action over to Pu on the 4♥Q♥2♣ flop, and Pu bet 300,000. Ahmad quickly called
Check-check followed the 5♣ turn to see the 7♥ appear on the river. Ahmad checked, which allowed Pu to bet 800,000. Ahmad tanked for a while, then made the call. Pu turned over top pair top kicker with A♣Q♠ to take down the pot.

Peng Chen raised the cutoff to 320,000 and both Weiran Pu & Krasimir Yankov called from the blinds.
All three checked the A♦7♠6♠ flop to the 2♦ turn, where Pu led for 350,000. Yankov folded, but Chen called.
When the J♥ hit the river, both players checked it down and Chen's A♥3♥ was good for the pot with a pair of aces.

Armin Rezaei: Q♣8♦
Moussa Ahmad: A♠7♥
Rezaei was behind the ace-high of Ahmad, but he did have two live cards that he could hit to win.
