Yankov Wins a Huge Flip vs Rezaei

Krasimir Yankov made it 240,000 from the cutoff before Armin Rezaei three-bet the small blind to 650,000. Yankov jammed for 2,375,000, and Rezaei called.

It was a flip that would either send Yankov to the rail as the final table bubble boy or leave Rezaei as the shortest stack remaining.

The K♣Q♦8♦ flop gave Rezaei a few extra outs to win, but he couldn't find any of them on the Q♣ turn or 7♠ river.

Yankov fist-pumped the air at scoring the huge double-up, while Rezaei was left with under ten big blinds.

Peng Chen limped in from the small blind and then called a raise of 420,000 from Armin Rezaei, who was in the big blind.

The flop fell K♥8♦4♦ and Chen elected to check-call a bet of 240,00 from Rezaei to the K♣ turn, where he tapped the table again. Rezaei then bet 750,000. and Chen announced a raise to 1,700,000. Before Chen could get the raise out, Rezaei folded.

Weiran Pu made it 250,000 from the cutoff with Krasimir Yankov calling on the button, and Peng Chen defending his big blind.

Chen and Pu checked the K♥K♣5♠ flop, allowing Yankov to put together a bet of 165,000. Chen folded, but Pu called.

Pu check-called another bet from Yankov on the J♣ turn, this time for 425,000.

Both checked the 9♥ river and Pu won the pot with K♦9♦ for a rivered boat.

Jamil Wakil raised to 240,000 on the button and Hao Tian called from the big blind.

When the flop came K♦7♦2♠, Tian check-called a bet of 165,000 from Wakil to see the A♠ turn. Again Tian went into check-call mode when Wakil fired 360,000.

A board-pairing A♣ hit the river and both checked it to showdown, where Tian showed K♠9♥ for a pair of kings. That was good for the pot as Wakil mucked.

Yankov checked the 3♠Q♠5♥ flop and Rezaei bet 175,000, Yankov check-raised to 465,000, which Rezaei just called.

The 4♦ landed on the turn and Yankov fired out 400,000. Rezaei slid in the call.

After the 3♥ fell on the river, Yankov jammed for 865,000. Rezaei thought about it for almost two minutes before deciding to fold and forfeit the pot to Yankov.

The flop came K♦2♦9♦, where Kiwisch fired 155,000 and Ates called to see the 4♦ on the river. Kiwisch bet again, this time for 360,000, and Ates folded.

On the other table, Moussa Ahmad made it 250,000 from under the gun and Armin Rezaei called on the button.

On the 10♣7♦3♥ flop, Ahmad continued for 300,000, which Rezaei called to the 4♦ turn. Ahmad bet 500,000, and this time, Rezaei folded.

Weiran Pu made it 250,000 from the cutoff, and Krasimir Yankov jammed for 900,000 from the button. Pu called once the rest of the table folded.

Pu was ahead with ace-high, but the 10♣J♣3♠ flop gave Yankov a straight draw and more ways to stay alive. A 2♦ turn put the tournament one card away from the final table. But, Yankov spiked the K♦ on the river to win the hand with top pair.

As the pot got pushed to Yankov, Armin Rezaei commented to him, "You're indestructible!"

Moussa Ahmad raised the cutoff to 250,000 and Peng Chen three-bet the button to 800,000. Armin Rezaei then announced a four-bet to 1,750,000 from the small blind, which earned him the pot.

"I was going to put him all-in if you folded," said Ahmad to Rezaei, in reference to Chen.

"You always three-bet on the button, every time," continued Ahmad.

Not long after, Chen raised to 250,000 from under the gun and Rezaei three-bet the cutoff to 650,000. When it got back to Chen, he shoved for around 2,500,000, and Rezaei folded.

Weiran Pu opened from the button and Moussa Ahmad called out of the big blind.

Ahmad checked the A♥7♠9♥ flop and Pu bet 220,000. Ahmad gathered together a check-raise to 500,000, which Pu called.

Both players checked the 5♥ turn to see the J♥ roll off on the river. Ahmad launched out a bet of 800,000, causing Pu to go into the tank. After around a minute, Pu raised to 2,000,000. Ahmad didn't take long to fold, and Pu showed 6♥5♠ as he dragged in the pot.
