Fahredin Mustafov raised from the hijack and Pedro Ingles called in the cutoff. Krasimir Yankov and Maksim Paniak were both in the blinds and also came along.
The flop came 2♣A♠J♥ and when it checked to Mustafov, he bet 35,000. Only Ingles called to see the 8♦ fall on the turn, which Mustafov checked. Ingles then fired out 64,000, and after some deliberation, Mustafov folded.
From the cutoff, Rene Majed made it 175,000 with just 20,000 behind. Ren Lin jammed the button for roughly 300,000, causing Yiannis Liperis to go deep into the tank from the big blind. After using a few time banks, Liperis made the call for his stack of about 120,000. Majed got out his phone to record his potential elimination, and then called for the remainder of his stack.
Liperis had the better pocket pair, while Majed just had to find a queen or jack to almost triple up.
The 8♦A♦10♣ flop offered Majed even more outs in the form of a straight draw. The 3♦ turn meant Lin could bust two players with a seven of diamond on the river. The 8♠ fell , which meant Liperis tripled up, and Lin won the side pot, eliminating Majed.
There were already around 110,000 in the pot on a flop of 8♦2♣J♠ when Michael Allen bet 48,000 from the small blind and Leon Sturm called out of the big blind.
A 2♦ hit the turn and Allen continued to fire, this time for 92,000. Sturm stuck around with a call and both watched the 5♦ hit the river. Allen slowed down and checked it over, then after using some extra time, Sturm announced a bet of 220,000. Before Sturm could even get the chips in, Allen folded, and Sturm raked in the pot.
