Day 2 of the $51,000 Onyx SHRS PLO Championship is set to play out today at the Merit Royal Diamond Hotel Casino & Spa, as part of the 2025 Onyx Super High Roller Series presented by Onyx Club. The PLO event drew 25 entries on Day 1, with 11 survivors advancing to the final day.

Leading the way is the Netherlands’ Marcus Dieleman, who ended yesterday with 2,602,000 chips. Dieleman surged into the lead after eliminating multiple opponents, including triumphing in a three-way all-in that vaulted him to the top of the chip count. Sitting behind him in second is Jesse Lonis with 1,723,000, and Richard Gryko in third, who starts today with 1,555,000.

Day 2 begins at 1 p.m. local time with blinds at 7,000/14,000 and a 14,000 big blind ante. Late registration will remain open until the end of Level 12, keeping the door open for more hopefuls to join the hunt for the $2,000,000 guarantee, and the plan is to play down to a champion.

Those who are fortunate enough to make the money will also earn points toward the Onyx Player of the Series leaderboard, with the eventual winner receiving a $110,000 Triton Poker Jeju package that includes a $100,000 Main Event seat and $10,000 in travel expenses. With only two events left on the schedule, this PLO Championship represents one of the final chances for players to improve their standings.
