Steinbrenner & Barakat Battle in the Blinds

Justin Steinbrenner completed from the small blind with Q♥8♣7♣4♣ before Youness Barakat raised to 600,000 from the big blind with A♣K♠J♦10♥.

Both players checked the 5♠3♣9♣ flop to see a 2♣ on the turn. Steinbrenner bet 800,000 with his flush and Barakat let go of his hand.

The next orbit, Steinbrenner completed from the small blind with A♠10♥9♣4♠, and Barakat checked with K♦9♦5♥4♥ from the big blind.

Steinbrenner knuckled it over to Barakat on the 2♦7♠7♦ flop, and Barakat fired for 200,000. Steinbrenner stuck around with a call.

The 3♣ arrived on the turn, causing Steinbrenner to check-fold to Barakat's 500,000 bet.

A 7♠ rolled off on the turn, and Steinbrenner check-called a second bet from Barakat, this time for 1,000,000.

Both players checked the K♦ river and Steinbrenner showed a straight with Q♦8♣6♦5♦. This won Steinbrenner the pot, as Barakat mucked Q♥J♥4♦4♣.

A king was exposed as Justin Steinbrenner raised to 700,000 on the button. Youness Barakat picked up A♠A♣8♦4♠ in the big blind and reraised to 2,300,000, and Steinbrenner folded 8♥4♣3♥3♣.

"With the king out, I knew you couldn't have a big hand so I had to three-bet my aces," Barakat said.

"We'll see it on the stream," Nino Pansier told him.

"I just told you I had aces. Would you have called with the king?" Barakat asked Steinbrenner, who shook his head. "What kind of shit are you raising with," Barakat added.

The next hand, Barakat limped in from the button and Steinbrenner checked his option.

Barakat bet 200,000 on the Q♦9♠8♥ flop, and Steinbrenner raised to 1,300,000. Barakat called to the 3♦ turn, where Steinbrenner bet another 3,300,000. Barakat then moved all in for 4,075,000, and Steinbrenner called.

Both players ended up turning over jack-ten for the nut straight, and the 3♣ river changed nothing as they chopped the pot.

The next hand, Pansier and Steinbrenner both limped in before Barakat raised to 800,000 in the big blind with A♣9♠6♣5♠. Both opponents folded.

"I'm running them over. Know how when you walk into the gym and all the big guys are like this, and a little one walks in and f**ks everything. Lifts more than everyone else. That's how I feel right now," Barakat said.

Steinbrenner flicked in one chip to call, and Pansier revealed A♥J♦10♥3♥ for trip aces. Pansier won the pot as Steinbrenner mucked 10♣7♦7♣6♠ for a pair of sevens.
