Maksim Shuts took a grip strength tool out of his bag and offered it to Vincent Khoueiry, who politely declined. "You only take chips," Shuts joked. He then asked Khoueiry how long he's been playing poker.
"Last time I played a tournament was 2009," Khoueiry replied.
"Come back to gamble," Shuts added.
Khoueity and Bassel Alanaz then saw a flop of 5♠8♣7♥ when Alanaz bet 150,000 from under the gun. Khoueiry called in the cutoff.
The turn was the 2♣ and Alanaz bet 625,000. Khoueiry quickly folded this time.
The next hand, Quan Zhou limped in from under the gun and Lautaro Guerra raised to 225,000 on the button. Zhou called to see the Q♠8♥3♥ flop.
Guerra then announced pot, and Zhou snap-folded.
