Pansier Takes Two
Level 27
: Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Justin Steinbrenner limped in on the button before Nino Pansier raised to 1,200,000 with Q♥Q♣8♣4♠. Steinbrenner called.
Pansier continued for 2,100,000 on the 9♦4♥4♦ flop, and Steinbrenner folded Q♠8♦5♣3♥.
Both players then checked to the river on a board of Q♠10♥3♠K♥6♣ in a limped pot when Steinbrenner bet 900,000. Pansier picked up his cards and shuffled them around as he studied the board, but he eventually ended up calling.
Steinbrenner showed J♥8♦7♦4♣ for a bluff, while Pansier had Q♥9♦5♦2♠ for a pair of queens to win the pot.
