Liviu Ignat raised under the gun to 140,000 with Espen Sandvik calling from the small blind, and Tomasz Krzesinski defending from the big blind.

Three checks followed the 442 flop, with the 3 coming on the turn. Sandvik checked again, and Krzesinski bet 125,000. Ignat called and Sandvik folded.

A 10 hit the river and Krzesinski tossed out a bet of 250,000. Ignat decided to fold and Krzesinski was given the pot.

Hand-For-Hand

Level 16 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

The floor staff have decided that because the tournament is slowing up and players are tanking, that hand-for-hand will start begin the next two players who are eliminated walking away with nothing.

Ziegelbecker Backs Into the Nuts to Survive

Level 16 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

After seeing the flop of 7104, Oswin Ziegelbecker and Artur Martirosian just got all of their chips into the middle, with Ziegelbecker being the one at risk.

Oswin Ziegelbecker: KQ109 All in
Artur Martirosian: J1043

Ziegelbecker was in trouble with top pair against the two pair of Martirosian, and looked likely to be hitting the rail.

A J fell on the turn, which may have improved Martirosian to a higher two pair, but it also gave Ziegelbecker a lot more outs with a combo-draw.

The 8 to complete the board gave Ziegelbecker the nut straight, and he doubled up on the soft bubble.

Ignat Relinquishes to Weiss' Check-Raise

Level 16 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Liviu Ignat raised to 140,000 on the button and Dennis Weiss defended from the big blind.

Both players checked the 109Q flop to see the K arrive on the turn. Weiss checked again before Ignat bet 225,000. Weiss announced a raise of the pot, resulting in a quick fold from Ignat.

Martirosian Sniffs Out Stormyr's Big Bluff

With about 950,000 in the pot on a completed board of Q4KJ9, Artur Martirosian checked from the big blind, and Sondre Stormyr jammed, covering Martirosian.

Martirosian had 850,000 left in his stack, and the bet made him go deep into the tank. After burning through all of his time banks, Martirosian peeked back at his cards, glanced over at Stormyr, and then made the call.

Stormyr immediately said "Good call", and turned over A943 for just the nut flush blocker.

Martirosian tabled J542 for a baby flush and the pot of over two and a half million went to Martirosian.

Krzesinski Spoils the Limping Party

Level 15 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Youness Barakat limped the hijack and Espen Sandvik called from the button. Phillip Wunscher completed from the small blind before Tomasz Krzesinski spoiled the party by raising it to 150,000. Only Barakat called.

Krzesinski announced a bet of 275,000 after the dealer spread out the AQ5 flop. Barakat quickly folded, surrendering the pot to Krzesinski.
