Grubinger Gets There on the River to Double

Marcel Grubinger raised under the gun to 14,000 and Joni Jouhkimainen defended out of the big blind.

Both players checked through the J♦3♣A♦ flop to see the 8♣ arrive on the turn. Jouhkimainen bet 34,000 and Grubinger tank-called, with just 15,500 left in his stack.

A 2♣ rolled out on the river, causing Jouhkimainen to check. Grubinger jammed for his last 15,500, and after giving it some thought, Jouhkimainen reluctantly called.

Grubinger showed a rivered flush with Q♣8♥6♥5♣, and he doubled up.

Yankov Gets Some Help to Crack Ignat's Aces

Aku Joentausta raised to 14,000 under the gun and Krasmir Yankov called from the next seat. Liviu Ignat squeezed the pot to 62,000 out of the hijack, and Joentausta and Yankov called.

When it got to Ignat on the 4♥K♣5♦ flop, he bet the pot, which was enough to put both of his opponents all-in. Joentausta quickly tossed his away, but Yankov went into the tank. After roughly a minute of thinking, Yankov called for his stack of about 45,000.

Liviu Ignat: A♣A♦K♦3♠

Ignat had an overpair, and Yankov needed some help from the dealer to survive.

Yankov found the help he required straight away as the Q♠ rolled off on the turn to give him a set.

The 7♥ completed the board and Yankov earned the much-needed double-up at the expense of Ignat.

Parssinen Shows Jouhkimainen Quads

Heads-up to a flop of A♠A♦4♦ and with around 100,000 in the pot. Joni Jouhkimainen checked from the big blind and faced a bet of 12,000 by Eelis Parssinen from middle position. Jouhkimainen called to see a turn.

Jouhkimainen checked again on the 10♥ turn, allowing Parssinen to fire a second barrel of 30,000. Jouhkimainen called.

Jouhkimainen checked once more after seeing the 4♠ river, and Parissen jammed, covering Jouhkimainen. Jouhkimainen had around 120,000 left in his stack and folded while showing K♦K♣ for a pair of kings.

Parssinen was nice enough to show that he had it the whole way as he tabled A♥A♣ for quad aces.

Krzesinski Wins a Multi-Way Pot

Liviu Ignat limped under the gun and Tomasz Krzesinski called from the hijack. Aku Joentausta raised to 15,000 from the small blind, which Krasmir Yankov called from the big blind. Ignat and Krzesinski also called, and the four players saw the flop of 6♠2♠8♥ fall.

Everyone checked and the 5♦ arrived on the turn. After three more checks, Krzesinski bet 31,000, which only Yankov called.

Yankov checked on the A♦ river, and Krzesinski shoved, putting Yankov all in for his remaining 89,000. Yankov deliberated briefly before choosing to fold his cards and Krzesinski was sent the pot.

Grubinger made a bet of 27,000 on the A♣10♦6♦ flop, which forced Krzesinski to fold. Parssinen raised the pot, putting Grubinger all in for his remaining 135,000. Grubinger quickly folded and surrendered the pot to Parssinen.

Stormyr check-called Amot's continuation-bet of 7,000 on the 9♥8♦8♠ flop.

Stormyr opted to lead out for 15,000 when the J♦ arrived on the turn. Amot continued in the form of a call.

A 3♥ peeled off on the river and Stormyr bet 24,000. Amot called and was shown J♠J♣10♥7♣ by Stormyr for a turned boat. Amot mucked while revealing Q♦10♦ for a straight.

Luuk van den Belt was seen leaving the tournament area and has been eliminated.

Yankov knuckled the action over to Ignat on the Q♦9♣10♥ flop, and Ignat fired out for 7,500. Yankov called.

A 4♣ arrived on the turn, and after Yankov checked, Ignat placed out a second barrel of 25,000. Again, Yankov just called.

Two checks followed the A♥ river and Yankov won the pot with A♠Q♥Q♠3♦ for a set of queens.
