Quan Zhou raised to 275,000 from the button before Eugene Golubchik potted it out of the big blind. Zhou shoved, and Golubchik called for his stack of about a million.

Golubchik was the underdog with kings against the aces of Zhou.

Zhou flopped trips on the Q♠Q♣5♣ flop, and after the 7♦ arrived on the turn Golubchik needed one of the two remaining kings to fall on the river to survive.

A A♣ rolled off to complete the board, giving Zhou a boat, and Golubchik was sent to the rail in 12th place.

Joni Jouhkimainen limped under the gun and Quan Zhou called from the cutoff. Maksim Shuts raised to 340,000 from the small blind, which Jouhkimainen and Zhou called.

Shuts fired out for a bet of 1,180,000 on the 2♥A♣5♣ flop, which got Jouhkimainen to instantly fold. Zhou used up two time banks before deciding to do the same, and Shuts was awarded the pot.

Lautaro Guerra limped in from under the gun before Espen Sandvik raised to 360,000 in the cutoff. Guerra called, and they went heads-up to the J♥5♥5♣ flop.

Sandvik continued for 175,000, and Guerra called to see the 3♦ turn. Sandvik then bet 225,000, and Guerra again called.

The river was the J♣ and Sandvik moved all in for 500,000. Guerra tanked for several minutes but eventually gave up his hand this time, and Sandvik took the pot.

Sandvik bet 510,000 on the 8♠2♣5♣ flop, which was enough to get Pansier to lay down his hand.

At the other table, Quan Zhou raised to 210,000 in the hijack with Bassel Alanaz calling out of the cutoff, and Joni Jouhkimainen calling from the big blind.

Once Jouhkimainen checked, Zhou bet 275,000 on the A♥Q♦8♣ flop. Alanaz and Jouhkimainen tossed their cards away.

The next hand, Marcel Grubinger raised to 210,000 in the hijack and Lautaro Guerra called in the big blind. Grubinger put in his last 200,000 on the 5♦Q♠10♥ flop, and Guerra called.
