Eibinger Falling Fast; Ladva Shows Mateos a Set
Emilien Pitavy raised to 15,000 under the gun and Matthias Eibinger three-bet to 40,000 in the cutoff. Klemens Roiter then four-bet to 88,000, and only Eibinger called.
The flop came 6♥7♣9♥ and Roiter bet 100,000. Eibinger called to see the A♣ turn, where Roiter bet another 140,000. Eibinger took a minute but eventually folded this time.
A few hands earlier, Eibinger and Matthias Lipp saw the river on a board of Q♠10♠3♦K♦5♦ with around 50,000 in the pot. Lipp then bet 30,000 from the cutoff, Eibinger raised to 90,000 in the small blind, and Lipp reraised to 325,000. Eibinger called, only for Lipp to show him A♦10♦ for the nut flush.
At the other table, Adrian Mateos bet 25,000 from the hijack on a flop of 2♠6♣J♣ and Ottomar Ladva raised to 50,000 in the big blind. Mateos called, and the 9♣ fell on the turn.
Ladva then bet 43,000, and Mateos again called. Ladva bet 165,000 on the 7♥ river and Mateos called once more. Ladva turned over 2♣2♦ for a set, and Mateos mucked.
