Guilbert Takes a Big Chunk Off Roiter Right Away

Matthias Lipp raised to 35,000 under the gun and Matthias Eibinger called in the hijack. Johan Guilbert, who had only just taken his seat, then three-bet to 140,000 in the cutoff, and Klemens Roiter four-bet to 280,000 on the button. Lipp and Eibinger folded, but Guilbert called.
Roiter then bet 75,000 on the A♣7♣2♥ flop, and Guilbert came back with a raise to 205,000. Roiter called, and the 6♥ fell on the turn.
Both players checked to the 5♣ river, where Guilbert bet another 205,000. Roiter called once more, and Guilbert showed A♠K♦ for top pair to win the big pot.
