Martirosian Shoves Out Rezaei; Badziakouski Finds an Ace to Leave Eibinger on Fumes
Heads-up on a flop of A♥3♣8♠, Daniel Rezaei bet 30,000 from the hijack before Artur Martirosian raised to 115,000 in the big blind. Rezaei called.
Martirosian bet another 250,000 on the 9♣ turn, and Rezaei again called. The river was the Q♥ and Martirosian bet 500,000, nearly covering Rezaei's remaining stack. Rezaei took a minute, but he eventually folded and Martirosian took the pot.
At the other table, Mikita Badziakouski shoved for 505,000 from the button. "Promising," Matthias Eibinger said as he peeled one card in the big blind. "I said promising with this card," he added, showing the 5♠ before calling.
Mikita Badziakouski: A♥2♥
Matthias Eibinger: 5♠5♣
Eibinger remained in the lead on the Q♥9♦6♦ flop, but Badziakouski spiked the A♦ on the turn to move in front. The river was the 7♥ and Badziakouksi doubled up, leaving Eibinger on an extreme short stack.
