Roiter Sends Out Lipp; Held Survives on the River
Level 14
: Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Matthias Lipp moved all in for 915,000 in the hijack and Klemens Roiter called in the cutoff.
Matthias Lipp: A♠7♠
Klemens Roiter: A♦K♠
The Q♣10♠10♣ flop left open the possibility of a chop, but Roiter's king-kicker continued to play after the 6♥ turn and 9♦ river to earn him the knockout.
At another table, Justus Held moved all in for 1,630,000 in the big blind and Christopher Puetz put him at risk on the button.
Justus Held: A♣3♥
Christopher Puetz: K♠Q♠
Held remained in the lead on the 10♦8♠3♦ flop, but Puetz hit the K♥ on the turn to make top pair. Held was already getting up from his seat preparing to make his exit until the A♥ fell on the river to give him two pair and the double up.
