Martirosian Loses Another Big Flip; Bellande Tries to Trap Eychenne
Daniel Thaller raised to 80,000 under the gun and Quan Zhou called in the hijack. Artur Martirosian then moved all in for 700,000 on the button, Thaller reshoved, and Zhou folded.
Artur Martirosian: 10♦10♣
Daniel Thaller: A♦K♦
Thaller hit top pair on the A♠J♣4♠ flop to take the lead, while the K♠ turn improved him to two pair. The river was the 4♣ and Martirosian was sent to the rail.
At another table, Thomas Eychenne raised to 80,000 in middle position before Jean-Robert Bellande three-bet to 210,000 in the cutoff. Eychenne then four-bet to 450,000, and Bellande called.
The flop came 8♣4♥6♣ and Eychenne bet 250,000. Bellande then moved all in, and Eychenne quickly folded.
Bellande told Eychenne he had two aces after the hand. "Good escape, sir. I was sure you were going to jam any flop. I guess I was wrong. I wouldn't have escaped," Bellande said.
