Mooney Runs Into Queens
Level 17
: Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Geoffrey Mooney raised to 150,000 in the cutoff before Daniel Thaller moved all in on the button. Mooney quickly called.
Geoffrey Mooney: A♣Q♥
Daniel Thaller: Q♣Q♦
Mooney was looking for an ace against Thaller's queens, but he missed the K♦10♦K♠3♦6♣ board and Thaller secured the pot. The stacks were counted down, and Thaller had Mooney's remaining 1,100,000 covered to earn the knockout.
With 15 players remaining, action is going hand-for-hand until there is one more elimination.
