Vogelsang Gets a Bluff Through Guilbert
Johan Guilbert was still stacking up his chips from his massive double up when he opened to 200,000 under the gun. Sergio Fernandez then picked up J♥J♣ in the small blind and moved all in for 1,355,000, and Guilbert folded.
Joseph Oren then raised to 200,000 under the gun with K♠9♠ and Tom Vogelsang called in the small blind holding A♥3♥, as did Guilbert in the big blind.
All three players checked the 6♠5♥4♦ flop. Vogelsang led out for 280,000 on the 10♣ turn, and only Guilbert called.
The river was the Q♣ and Vogelsang bet another 820,000. Guilbert used up a time bank as he pondered the decision. "Well, my friend. I think you are value-betting. If I think you are value-betting, I can't beat you. Because of that I will fold. That's my conclusion after this time-bank taking," Guilbert said as he folded 7♥6♦.
