Joseph Oren Eliminated in 3rd Place ($575,000)
The A♠ that was supposed to go to Johan Guilbert was exposed as Matthias Eibinger raised to 800,000 on the button. Guilbert then moved all in for 7,400,000 from the small blind with A♥J♣, and Eibinger folded J♥4♣.
"I would have aces. I swear, I would have aces. I don't have aces now, but I would have aces," Guilbert said as he flashed his ace.
"And you still go all in even though there's an ace exposed?" Eibinger replied.
The next hand, Joseph Oren limped in from the small blind, then called for 5,400,000 when Eibinger shoved from the big blind.
Joseph Oren: A♦10♦
Matthias Eibinger: 3♠3♣
"Matthias, for one time I am rooting for you because there is something called pay jump that I heard of. So for one time I am rooting for you. But I also like my friend Handz, so I don't know. Maybe I'm 60 percent for you, Matthias, and 40 percent for him," Guilbert said as the flop came Q♦6♦9♥, giving Oren a flush draw to go with his overcards.
Oren also picked up a straight draw on the 8♣ turn, but he missed the 6♣ river and Eibinger held on to send Oren to the rail in third place.
