Muehloecker Wins a Battle of the Blinds With Yankov
Level 5
: Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Krasimir Yankov made it 12,000 from the small blind and Thomas Muehloecker defended out of the big blind.
Yankov led out for 9,000 upon seeing the A♥K♦J♠ flop, and Muehloecker called.
A board-pairing K♠ on the turn caused Yankov to check. Muehloecker bet 30,000, which Yankov called.
A final check came from Yankov on the 9♣ river, and Muehloecker pushed out a bet totalling 78,000. Yankov tossed his cards away and allowed Muehloecker to win the battle of the blinds.
