Just 32 players out of 207 entries will return today to the Merit Royal Diamond Hotel Casino & Spa at 1 p.m. local time to chase a spot at the final table on Day 2 of the $25,000 Onyx High Roller Series No-Limit Hold'em Main Event.

Russian streamer Alexey Borovkov ended up as a big chip leader after three starting flights, taking 5,335,000 into the event’s penultimate day. Ottomar Ladva (3,690,000), Joni Jouhkimainen (3,630,000), Daniel Rezaei (3,225,000), and Boris Kolev (2,550,000) round out the top five.

Hall of Famer Patrik Antonius arrived in North Cyprus yesterday and jumped into the last starting flight, where he managed to bag up 620,000.

The 32 remaining players are already in the money, and the official prize pool will be announced shortly after play begins. The action picks up on Level 16 with blinds of 20,000/40,000 and a 40,000 big blind ante. Levels will be extended to 60 minutes today. The plan is to play down to the final table by the end of the night.
