Lipp Pulls Ahead on the River
Level 22
: Blinds 70,000/140,000, 140,000 ante
Matthias Lipp raised to 290,000 on the button and Boris Kolev called in the big blind.
The flop came A♦7♦6♥ and Lipp bet 420,000. Kolev called.
Both players checked the 4♣ turn, while the J♠ fell on the river. Action was again checked through, and Kolev showed 7♣5♠ for a pair of sevens. Lipp, though, had K♦J♣ for a rivered pair of jacks to win the pot.
