Bezhanyan Makes a Big Fold as Vyborov Opens Massive Lead

Artur Vyborov raised to 500,000 on the button with 9♦8♠6♠5♠ and Aren Bezhanyan called in the small blind holding A♦J♣10♦9♣, while Quan Zhou also defended K♥6♣5♣4♥.

The flop came 9♠8♣4♣ and Vyborov continued for 1,000,000 with top two pair. Bezhanyan called with his pair and draws, while Zhou got out of the way.

Both players checked the 9♥ turn, and the 7♠ fell on the river. Bezhanyan made his straight and led out for 1,700,000. Vyborov, sitting with the nuts, used a time bank before raising to 4,600,000.

Bezhanyan went deep into the tank, burning through multiple time banks over several minutes before giving up his hand. Vyborov showed him his 6♠5♠ while he took the big pot.

A 3♦ landed on the turn and Bezhanyan continued for 675,000. Zhou immediately called.

After the J♥ rolled on the river to give Bezhanyan a royal flush, he used a time bank before making a small bet of 325,000.

Zhou meticulously gathered together a raise to 2,200,000, prompting Bezhanyan to raise his eyebrows and glance over at Zhou.
