Jeremy Trojand Leads 35 Players Into Day 2 of the $10,000 PLO Opener
After a week of No-Limit Hold’em action, four-card specialists get to take their shot at an Onyx High Roller Series trophy starting with the $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Opener today at noon local time.
A total of 232 players entered over three starting flights, but only 35 will return today for Day 2. Jeremy Trojand is the only player above the 2,000,000-chip mark, and he’ll begin the day atop the leaderboard with 2,096,000.

Belarmino De Souza, coming off a $4 million payday for his third-place finish in the WSOP Paradise Super Main Event in December, is in second place with 1,740,000, while Eelis Parssinen (1,617,000), Aren Bezhanyan (1,538,000), and Richard Gryko (1,321,000) round out the top five.
Other players who’ve made it to Day 2 include Tom Vogelsang (1,159,000), Laszlo Bujtas (1,133,000), Thomas Eychenne (816,000), and Quan Zhou (470,000). Further down the leaderboard are Ian Bradley (375,000), Dennis Weiss (340,000), Joni Jouhkimainen (339,000), Imad Derwiche (310,000), and Daniel Rezaei (299,000).
The 232 entries into this event built a prize pool of $2,180,800. All 35 remaining players are already in the money, and the official list of payouts should be announced shortly after the start of play.
The action on Day 2 picks up with four minutes remaining in Level 14 with blinds of 5,000/10,000 and a 10,000 big blind ante. Each subsequent level will be 40 minutes long, and the plan is to play down to a winner tonight. The Onyx live stream will begin once the final table is reached.
