Khorchidian Can't Look at the Flop
Nino Pansier was all in for 125,000 from the hijack and Thomas Eychenne called in the cutoff. Nichan Khorchidian then reraised to 240,000 on the button, and Eychenne called.
"I don't want to see the flop," Khorchidian said as he turned away from the table before the dealer spread out the A♦J♠4♥ flop.
"There's an ace on the flop, so you can breathe," Eychenne told him, and Khorchidian turned back around and bet 215,000. Eychenne quickly folded.
Nino Pansier: A♥Q♥7♠3♠
Nichan Khorchidian: A♣A♠9♦6♥
Khorchidian had spiked top set and left Pansier drawing thin going to the 2♦ turn, which gave Pansier some outs with a straight draw. The 9♠ river was no help, and Khorchidian scored the knockout.
"I deserve it. I'm good for poker," Khorchidian told his tablemates.
