Parssinen Can't Finish Kurashev
Level 16
: Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Dmitry Kurashev moved all in for 265,000 in the small blind and Eelis Parssinen put him at risk in the cutoff.
Dmitry Kurashev: A♣K♦Q♣5♠
Eelis Parssinen: A♥A♠9♠5♥
Kurashev had run right into Parssinen's aces, but the J♥10♣2♣ flop gave him straight and flush draws. "Good flop," he said, and the Q♠ turn improved him to the nut straight. The river was the 10♦ and he doubled up.
"It's hard to beat double-suited aces. It's harder against him than anyone," tablemate Krasimir Yankov added after the hand.
