Zabiiakin Chips Up With Set; Dwan Busts
Yannick Schumacher raised to 4,000 from the hijack, with Aliaksandr Shylko calling from the cutoff and Ryan Mandara calling on the button. Jamie Dwan then committed his last 4,500 from the small blind before Ivan Zabiiakin raised to 22,000 from the big blind. Only Shylko called.
With Dwan all-in, the dealer spread the K♦9♦4♣ flop, where Zabiiakin continued for 16,000. Shylko elected to call.
Zabiiakin slowed down and checked the J♠ turn, allowing Shylko to bet 22,000. Zabiiakin thought it over for a few moments before making the call.
Zabiiakin checked for a final time on the 10♦ river, and after giving it some thought, Shylko checked back.
Dwan showed J♦9♣ for two pair, Zabiiakin tabled K♣K♠ for top set, while Shylko could only show 7♦7♠ for a pair of sevens.
Zabiiakin's set scooped the entire pot, sending his stack up to 200,000, while Dwan headed to the exit.
