After four opening flights attracted 507 entries, the $10,400 Premiere at the Onyx High Roller Series moves on to Day 2 today, with 76 players making their way back to the beautiful Merit Royal Diamond Hotel Casino & Spa for the restart at 1 p.m. local time.
The Premiere boasts a guaranteed prize pool of $5,000,000, and all remaining players have already secured a payday after the starting flights played down to the money. The full payout information is expected to be announced shortly before cards get in the air, with everyone's eyes firmly fixed on what the eventual champion will take home.
Coming in as the one to catch on Day 2 is Belarus' Artsiom Lasouski, who topped the Day 1c flight with 2,180,000 chips to become the only player to surpass the two-million-chip mark. Rounding out the podium are Alex Kulev, who returns with 1,840,000 after leading Day 1b, and the Day 1a chip leader Sorel Mizzi, who bagged 1,720,000 during the opening flight.

Things get underway for the penultimate day at 1 p.m., with the remaining players returning to Level 15. The blinds will be 10,000/20,000, with a big blind ante of 20,000. From today, blind levels will increase to 60 minutes in length, with the schedule set to play down until the final table is reached.
