Brooks Finishes Off Smolka

Level 8 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Dawid Smolka was down to 27,000 and decided to commit them all from the button when the action folded to him. Patrick Brooks gave him a spin from the small blind, and the players turned over their cards.

Dawid Smolka: A9 All in
Patrick Brooks: 99

Smolka needed an ace or some clubs to stay alive, but he found neither on the 6283K runout, and his chips were absorbed into Brooks' stack.

Rezaei Eliminates Amiri

Level 8 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Daniel Rezaei
Daniel Rezaei

Daniel Rezaei raised to 6,000 from under the gun, and Ehsan Amiri went all in from the cutoff for roughly 80,000, then the action folded to Rezaei and he quickly called.

Ehsan Amiri: AK All in
Daniel Rezaei: JJ

Terrible start for Amiri as the flop came J210, and he was eliminated as the board ran out 2 on the turn and the 5 completed the run out.

Satubayev Triples With Quads, Eliminating Skhulukhiya

Level 8 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Shyngis Satubayev
Shyngis Satubayev

Giorgiy Skhulukhiya raised to 6,000 from under the gun, and Shyngis Satubayev jammed for 57,000 from the hijack. Alexander Zubov then moved all in from the cutoff for around 200,000, and Skhulukhiya called off his remaining 52,000 when the action got back to him.

Giorgiy Skhulukhiya: AK All in
Shyngis Satubayev: 99 All in
Alexander Zubov: AK

Zubov and Skhulukhiya shared the same outs, putting Satubayev in a reasonably good spot to virtually triple up.

Skhulukhiya's elimination and Satubayev's triple-up were guaranteed after Satubayev hit quads on the 993 flop.

The 10 turn and A river were merely a formality as Satubayev pulled in the pot, while Skhulukhiya headed for the exit.

What A Roller Coaster

Level 8 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Action was picked up as Timo Vogt was all in for 127,000 from middle position, and Natalia Nikitina called after confirming the chip count on the button.

Timo Vogt: QQ All in
Natalia Nikitina: JJ

The dealer fanned out a flop of 552, which was safe for Vogt, but the J on the turn gave Nikitina a full house and left Vogt with just two outs to stay in the tournament.

The poker gods were clearly on Vogt's side, as the dealer pinged the Q on the river to give him a bigger full house and a huge double-up.

Khamatgareev Drills Two Pair to Bust Panka

Level 8 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Rustam Khamatgareev raised to 6,000 from the hijack, and Dominik Panka three-bet to around 20,000 from the small blind. Khamatgareev jammed, and Panka called off his stack of approximately 100,000.

Dominik Panka: KK All in
Rustam Khamatgareev: AQ

Panka had the best hand with pocket kings and just needed to fade an ace to double up to twice the starting stack.

Unfortunately for Panka, the AQ9 flop was a disaster, as Khamatgareev took the lead with two pair.

The 3 turn and 5 river completed the board, and Panka became the newest casualty of the event.

Huang Flushes Benedek

Level 7 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Yuxi Huang
Yuxi Huang

Yuxi Huang raised to 5,500 from the cutoff, and Viacheslav Goryachev called on the button before Farkas Benedek made it 22,000 from the big blind. Huang made the call but Goryachev decided to fold.

Benedek fired out a bet for 15,000 when the flop came 36Q, and to his surprise Huang clicked it back to 30,000, and Benedek called. The 9 on the turn saw Huang keep up the aggression and she bet 26,000, which Benedek called again.

Huang who covered Benedek went all in for 135,000 on the 5 river, Benedek asked for a count then called once the dealer confirmed. Huang tabled a king-high flush as she tabled K10, and then Benedek tabled AQ before exiting the tournament.

Rizov's Set Ends Yaroshevskyy

Level 7 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Igor Yaroshevskyy
Igor Yaroshevskyy

On the 478 flop, Igor Yaroshevskyy got all of his chips into the middle from the big blind, with Miroslav Rizov trying to win them all from the small blind.

Igor Yaroshevskyy: 1010 All in
Miroslav Rizov: 77

Yaroshevskyy had an overpair, but he was in terrible shape against Rizov's flopped set.

The 4 turn and K river provided no assistance to Yaroshevskyy, and all of his chips headed over to Rizov.
