The 2026 Onyx High Roller Series continues today at the Merit Royal Diamond Hotel Casino & Spa with Day 1 of the $15,300 6-Max getting underway. With a six-handed format and plenty of high-stakes regulars expected to take their seats, the shorter tables should provide plenty of action as players battle for a place at the final table.

Each player will receive a 100,000 starting stack, with Level 1 beginning at 200/500 with a 500 big blind ante. Levels will last 30 minutes throughout the day, with Day 1 continuing until the field has been whittled down to the final six players, at which point the final table will be set. Those survivors will return for Day 2 to play down to a champion.

One player to keep an eye out for should he take his seat is Mikita Badziakouski, who enjoyed success in a similar 6-Max event at Onyx in 2025. Badziakouski made a deep run before finishing in fourth place for $45,700, while Adrian Mateos went all the way to heads-up before eventually finishing runner-up for $86,300.

Players will head on a 60-minute dinner break after Level 8, with late registration closing at the end of Level 10, at approximately 9:15 p.m. local time. With unlimited reentries available, there will be plenty of chances for players to jump back in and have another shot at running up a stack. From there, it will be all about making the final six and putting themselves in contention for the largest share of the prize pool.
