At a four-handed table, Rustam Khamatgareev opened to 5,000 first to act. Dmitry Gromov then put his big stack to use, three-betting to 15,000 on the button. The blinds quickly folded, but Khamatgareev took a stand, four-betting to 45,000. That ended the contest, as Gromov released his cards to the dealer.
