Nurmuhammedov Doubles, Iarilov Falls

Level 15 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Aleksandras Rusinovas raised to 60,000 in middle position, and Parahat Nurmuhammedov responded by moving all in for 420,000 in the cutoff. Viktor Iarilov then four-bet jammed his stack, quickly removing Rusinovas from the equation.

Parahat Nurmuhammedov: AA All in
Viktor Iarilov: JJ

When the board was dealt to a Q753 turn, Nurmuhammedov found himself looking to fade a lot more outs, as Iarilov had picked up a flush draw. The 5 river was safe for Nurmuhammedov, though, earning him a double-up.

The very next hand, Iarilov got the remainder of his stack into the middle but didn't survive, bringing his Day 1a to an end.

Rusinovas Holds to Double

Level 15 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Julian Pineda Lozano raised from under the gun and called when Aleksandras Rusinovas moved all in for 380,000 from the small blind.

Julian Pineda Lozano: A10

The runout offered no threat to Rusinovas, who earned a full double-up with his pocket kings.

Rezaei Wins at Showdown

Level 15 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Thomas Alfred Mayer raised to 60,000 in the hijack, and Daniel Rezaei defended his big blind.

Rezaei check-called a bet of 75,000 on a 6Q10 flop, before the J turn and 8 river saw the action check through.

Rezaei tabled KJ, and Mayer mucked his cards.

Right Hand, Right Time

Level 14 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Arsenii Karmatckii limped in from the small blind, and Aleksei Gortikov raised to 175,000 in the big blind. After some time spent considering a response, Karmatckii moved all in, and Gortikov snap-called.

Gortikov had the smaller of the two stacks with 530,000 and, as such, was the player at risk.

Aleksei Gortikov: AA All in
Arsenii Karmatckii: AQ

Gortikov had to endure a slight sweat, as the JQ2 flop gave Karmatckii some hope. However, the 8 turn and J river were bricks, giving Gortikov a full double-up.

Tamasauskas Loses Two to Bust

Level 14 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Jamil Wakil was all in from under the gun for roughly 380,000, and at risk of elimination versus Vladas Tamasauskas in the big blind.

Jamil Wakil: AQ All in
Vladas Tamasauskas: 1010

The K8Q flop saw Wakil take the lead, and he stayed ahead when the 4 and 7 completed the board.

That collision left Tamasauskas with 235,000, and he got that into the middle just a few hands later. Unfortunately for him, he was unable to win that all in either, and in a flash, he was out of the tournament.
