Paik Sets Up Wang
Albert Paik is increasing his stranglehold on the final table and has just won a sizable pot from next closest rival Yang Wang to take a big bite out of the Chinese player's stack and pull Paik further out in front.
It was Wang who was the initial aggressor, making it 19,000 to go from the cutoff, and Paik made the call from the big blind to bring in the flop.
This saw Paik lead into Wang for 16,000 and it did not take Wang long to chuck in some raising chips, making it 66,000 to go. Paik smooth-called and the hit the turn. Paik checked, and Wang saved some chips by checking it back.
The river saw Paik lead once more, this time for 26,000 and Wang grudgingly slid out the call, but could only muck when Paik revealed his set of sevens.
