The field is now up to 20 entrants, 18 of whom are still in the running with Taiwan's James Chen the latest arrival. Chen is a regular in some of Macau's biggest cash games but is also a dab hand at tournaments with five high roller titles to his name for live tournament winnings of over US$2.5M putting him in second on the Taiwan All Time Money List.

China's Devan Tang is recently returned to Macau after taking part in the massive Triton Super High Roller Montenegro event and is another new arrival in the OPC High Roller.

Chen Makes His Presence Felt

Level 3 : 150/300, 25 ante

When James Chen sits down at your table, you'll soon hear from him. Ying Jinghui certainly did just now.

Action folded to Jinghui on the button and he opened to 700. Chen then put in a three-bet to 3,100 from the small blind, and when it folded back to Jinghui he wasn't done. He four-bet it to 9,000, and Chen began to think.

A minute or so later, Chen tossed out four 5,000 chips, five-betting it to 20,000. Jinghui would let it go. A nice, aggressive start for Chen, then.

Wei and Leow In

Level 4 : 200/400, 50 ante

There have been two more recent arrivals with Malaysian's Ivan Leow and Webster Lim Chin Wei the two in question. We caught Wei in action in a hand against Wenling Gao, with the former making it 1,000 to go on the button and the latter defending from the big blind.

The flop came down {10-Spades}{6-Hearts}{k-Hearts} with both players checking to bring in the {9-Spades} turn. Gao checked again and Wei delayed continuation-bet 1,500, which was enough to get it done and Gao folded.

Wang gets paid

Level 4 : 200/400, 50 ante

Yang Wang's stack is on the up, courtesy of this pot against Fabian Spielmann.

There was already a {2-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} board out there when we arrived, and after Spielmann checked from the big blind seat, Wang led for 3,100 in the under-the-gun seat. Spielmann made the call to see the {6-Hearts} river, on which he'd check again. Wang continued for 7,300, and Spielmann tossed in the chips as he announced a call.

Wang revealed {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades} for top pair, and that was good when Spielmann mucked.

Double up for Zhou

Level 4 : 200/400, 50 ante

Steven Zhou's stack got just what the doctor ordered: a full double up.

After Jichong Lei opened under the gun to 1,100 in a big-blind only pot, it folded to Zhou on the button and he three-bet to 3,000. Back to Lei, he made the call to see a {4-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop. Lei checked it, after which Zhou continued for 5,000. Lei then shoved with the bigger stack, and Zhou quickly called off his 19,250.

Lei - {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Zhou - {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Only an ace or running cards would end it for Zhou, so the {8-Spades} turn and {8-Clubs} river were no danger to him. He doubles to 46,000, while Lei drops to 30,100.

Moss Tickles Out Zhou

Level 4 : 200/400, 50 ante

Some of Steven Zhou's newly won chips have found their way over to Matthew Moss' stack after the two played a recent pot together. It was Zhou who was the initial aggressor, making it 900 to go from under-the-gun with Moss (small blind) and Cyril Andre (big blind) making the call to take the action three-way to a flop of {6-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}.

Moss and Andre checked the action over to Zhou, who fired for 1,400 with Moss the only caller to take the action heads-up to the {6-Diamonds} turn. This saw both players check and the {k-Spades} river completed the hand. Moss now led for a tickly little bet of 700 and Zhou laughed to himself before having to throw his hand away.
