Ebert Triples Up

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Brian Ebert shoved for about 21,000 and a player behind him raised to what looked to be 40,000. Vlad Revniaga shoved all in over that, chasing the reraiser away. Ebert had {k-}{j-} and was dominated by {j-}{j-Hearts} but a {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop hit.

"Right in the window, huh?" Revniaga muttered.

The {8-Hearts} turn gave him a chance with a flush draw but the river was an {8-Spades}.

Young Gets Value With Queens

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Kai Yang bet 17,000 from the hijack on a board of {10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades}{4-Spades}, and a player in middle position who had checked made the call. The river was a {5-Diamonds} and the middle player check-called 25,000.

Yang showed {q-Spades}{q-Hearts} and took the pot when his opponent mucked.

He now has about 250,000.
