Jeremy Dresch opened the action with a raise to 2,500 and was called by Zeph Baer, who defended his big blind. The flop came and Baer checked to Dresch, who made a continuation-bet of 2,600. Baer called.
Both players checked the turn and the river fell . Baer put out a bet of 2,000, sending Dresch into the tank. After close to a minute, he put out a raise to 9,500.
It was then Baer's turn to think about his decision. Half a minute later, he made the call.
Dresch showed for an ace kicker to the board's trip jacks. Baer tabled for a full house and had the pot shipped his way.

There was at least 35,000 in the middle on a board reading and Aaron Curti had a bet of 25,000 out in front of him from the big blind. Tyler Kolness was on the button and came over the top of Curti, putting him all in. Curti called.
Aaron Curti:
Tyler Kolness:
Kolness' aces were in trouble against Curti's two pair and he needed to improve to get the knockout and win the massive pot. He would not do so, however, as the river fell to complete the runout and secure the pot for Curti, who now finds himself as one of the largest stacks in the room after winning a pot good for around 185,000 in chips.

"Classic coin flip," said a player at the table after Jesse Rockowitz got his stack all in from early position and had received action from Gennady Shimelfarb, who was in the cutoff.
Jesse Rockowitz:
Gennady Shimelfarb:
The coin flip situation lasted until the flop fell , planting Shimelfarb out in front with a pair of aces. The situation remained unchanged as the turn and river completed the runout to leave Rockowitz with no chips to play as the pot was sent Shimelfarb's way, bringing him over six figures worth of chips in the process.

Gary Loeffler was on the button and saw action folded to him. He opened to 4,200 and was three-bet to 14,800 by Rich Alsup, who was in the small blind. Loeffler four-bet all in for 21,200 and Alsup threw in the remaining 6,400 required to call.
Gary Loeffler:
Rich Alsup:
The board ran out , with Alsup hitting a six on the river to give him a set.
"Flush," said Loeffler, who is known locally as "King D" at the tables, immediately after the river hit. He was right, as the river also improved him to a flush to beat Alsup's set of sixes, resulting in a double and a new stack of chips with which to play.

Zeph Baer was under the gun and opened to 3,700. He was three-bet to 11,000 by the hijack and proceeded to shove all in when action folded back to him. He received a call and hands were tabled.
Zeph Baer:
Hijack:
Baer's queens were in trouble against his opponent's kings and the flop was of no help to him. Lucky for him, the tides turned as the turn fell to give Baer a set. The river came a clean and he pushed forward his chips to be counted for the double. They were totaled to be 29,400 and his opponent sent the matching amount his way.
