There was just under 10,000 in the pot on a board reading and heads-up action between the player in the small blind and Mario Hudson, who was in the hijack. The small blind fired out a bet of 6,500 and Hudson thought for a few moments before tossing in chips to call. The river fell and the small blind checked. Hudson checked behind to take the hand to showdown.
Hudson showed after checking back and his opponent hit the table to signify a nice hand, doing so with the slightest inflection of frustration before sending his cards tot he muck.
There was around 3,000 in the pot from preflop action in a three-way pot between a player in middle position, Joseph Maas in the hijack, and Vic Peppe in the cutoff. The flop came and the middle-position playear checked to Maas, who threw out an overbet of 5,000. Peppe wasted no time calling and the third player in the hand folded to take action heads up to the turn .
"Play for the rest," said Maas, pushing forward his remaining 10,900. Peppe thought for close to a minute and then sent his cards face-down to the center of the table.
Ian Matakis had gotten stacks in from early position with action from Tam Le, who was in the cutoff, and hands had just been tabled on a board of with about 13,000 in the middle before stacks went in.
Ian Matakis:
Tam Le:
"Nice catch," said Le as he paid what he owed. Despite the lost pot, Le appears to be one of the biggest stacks in the room, having been spotted with over 100,000 in front of him.

There was around 24,000 in the middle on a board of and action was on the big blind, who had checked and was facing a bet of 15,000 from Matt Alexander out of the cutoff. He thought for close to a minute and then tossed in chips to call.
"I have the nuts," said Alexander, tabling for a straight flush. His opponent mucked.
"That's it?" the player joked as Alexander stacked his newly-earned chips into heaping towers of varying heights, with each stack representing a different denomination of chips totaling somewhere in the range of 118,500.
Action folded around to the hijack and he put in a raise to 1,600. Both the cutoff and the player on the button called to put action onto Jesse Rockowitz, who three-bet all in from the small blind. Action folded back around to the player on the button, who asked how much it was to call.
Rockowitz cut down his stack to clearly total 12,600 and the dealer immediately announced the amount. The player on the button picked up enough chips with which to call and then hesitated for a second, ultimately tossing them in to make the call and send the two off to the races.
Jesse Rockowitz:
Opponent:
The board came , leaving Rockowitz's tens best to score him the double.
A player shoved for his last 5,000 or so from under the gun and action folded around to Bill Perpich, who reraised all in from the cutoff. All remaining players folded and the two tabled their hands.
All-In Player:
Bill Perpich:
The all-in player remarked as he tabled his hand about hoping that he was not dominated preflop. After seeing Perpich's two overcards, he affirmed that he was happy his hand was at least live. His two live cards picked up four more outs on the flop , however he would be left high and dry after the turn and river fell to finish the runout. He exchanged pleasantries of a good game with the table and made his way from the tournament area.
Players are on a 40-minute dinner break. Play will resume at approximately 6:21 p.m. local time.
The tournament clock reads 198 entries at the beginning of the break, just two shy of reaching 200 for the day. Late registration is still open and will stay open until the end of the break following Level 11 at approximately 8:30 p.m. local time.
