He Eliminated by Soyza

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Michael Soyza was eliminated not long ago and re-entered to quickly double his stack. Things went even better after that as he send Chang He to the rail.

He had defended the {6-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and got it in after a {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} flop only for Soyza to snap-call with {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}. The {5-Clubs} turn and {10-Spades} river mattered little as He headed to the rail.

Li Busts In Three-Way All-In

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Derek Ip tripled up when his {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs} flopped top pair on {j-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Spades} as Xinglaiu Li with {a-Spades}{k-Clubs} and a third player in the hand with {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} both failed to connect on a blank turn and river.

For Li it spelled the end as he was covered and hit the rail, Ip jumped back to the starting stack.

Chong Loses Some

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Victor Chong looked up the shove of a short-stacked Kosumosu Yamanaka with {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and his opponent tabled {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}. The board came {6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{j-Clubs} and Yamanaka survived with his king-queen high to double.

Shortly after just before the blinds went up, Yan Rao three-bet shoved and this time Chong sent his cards into the muck.

Luo Takes Over the Lead

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Ben Lai grinned and his cards were all but mucked as he said "nice slowroll" to Xixiang Luo when his {j-Spades}{10-Clubs} for flopped two pair ended up second-best against {q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}.

Luo was busy stacking even more chips onto his tower and appears to be the current chip leader.

Gu Jams Into Chen

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

A reraise to 7,500 was in front of Huidong Gu on the button and Dong Chen made it 20,000 to go from the small blind to force out the initial raiser. Gu opted to call and they headed to the {j-Spades}{10-Spades}{6-Hearts} flop on which Chen carefully checked the stack of Gu before tossing in a bet of 10,000.

Gu moved all in for 34,400 and Chen asked for a count but ended up sigh-folding.

Lin Eliminated by Zhou

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Chen An Lin
Chen An Lin

Chen An Lin defended his big blind against a button raise by Huijie Zhou and check-raised the {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{3-Spades} flop to 6,500, which Zhou called. Lin then jammed the {10-Clubs} turn and Zhou quickly came along.

Chen An Lin: {k-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}
Huijie Zhou: {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

The river was the meaningless {9-Hearts} as Lin was already drawing dead with his top pair.
