Feng Valuebets Third Pair and Wins

Level 3 : 100/300, 300 ante

Joining the action on the {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{8-Spades} flop, the action checked to the button who bet 1,100 and was called by Chang He in the big blind and Huahuan Feng in the hijack. The {6-Diamonds} turn was checked to the button who bet 2,500 and again two calls followed.

He then bet the {a-Hearts} river for 4,800 and Feng raised it up to 12,000. The button folded and He called with a few seconds left on the clock.

Feng shook his head and tabled {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} but that remained the best hand as He turned over {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts} for a pair of fours only.

Ip Caught Bluffing

Level 3 : 100/300, 300 ante

In a battle cutoff versus button with 5,100 in the middle, Derek Ip and his table neighbor checked the {a-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop. Ip then bet the {3-Clubs} turn and the {j-Hearts} river for 2,400 and 6,800 respectively. The first bet was called swiftly while the button tank-called the second bet to get shown the {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for a busted flushdraw by Ip, which ended up second-best to {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} for top set.

Feng Wins Two Out of Three

Level 3 : 100/300, 300 ante
Huahuan Feng
Huahuan Feng

Huahuan Feng has chipped up nicely just before the blinds went up and appears to be among the early chip leaders. Feng won a bigger pot when his bet of 12,000 on the {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} river was called by the player in the small blind. Feng turned over {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for a flush and then lost a small pot to the same player soon after.

Feng proceeded to win a four-way pot in which a raise to 500 was called two ways including Feng in the small blind. Chang Shi in the big blind min-raised to 1,000 and picked up three callers. Feng was among two players to check-call a bet of 1,000 on the {j-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{4-Spades} flop and the only on to check-call 2,000 by Shi on the {5-Hearts} turn.

After the {q-Diamonds} river, Feng check-called a bet of 5,000 and was good with {k-Hearts}{q-Spades} as Shi only held {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for a pair of nines.
