Day 1b of 2019 SIGA Poker Championships is On Deck

Day 1a is in the books, and 40 players have already booked their tickets for Day 2 action. Josh Hopkins is the one with all the chips after the first day of play, bagging up 272,000 by the end of the day, but there's still one more chance to find a stack for Day 2 play, as Day 1b kicks off at noon on Saturday, October 5th.

Last year, Day 1b was huge with a total of 232 entries pushing through the turnstiles before registration closed. It's still an open question how many players will be there this year, but considering the Day 1a total was nine higher than 2018's Day 1a, the trend for Day 1b is looking good.

No doubt a few of the familiar faces to fall on Day 1a will take another shot tomorrow. Its likely that players like Jordan Cossette, Kimberly McClymont, Murray Hicks, Sy Clark, Mike Smith, Tyler Williams, Dallas Larson and others will be back at the felt for Day 1b.

Cards are in the air at noon on Saturday, and once again they'll play 16 levels to decide who moves on to Day 2.
Stay tuned here for the action from the floor all weekend long.
