Break Time

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Players are head out for their final break of the night. Here are some chip counts as collected in Level 14.

Blyth Hits and Holds

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Wayne Blyth opened the betting from early position with a limp, and he was called by James Hart and Casey Nicole in the blinds.

The flop came {6-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and it checked to Blyth who bet 4,000. Only Hart called to see the {k-Spades} turn, and he again checked to Blyth, who bet 5,000.

Hart called again, and the river came {3-Clubs}. Both players checked, and Hart mucked his hand when Blyth showed {a-}{q-}.

Hart Shoves the Flop

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Action opened with James Hart raising to 5,500 from the middle. Casey Nicole called from hijack, and everyone else got out of the way.

The flop came {7-Spades}{3-Hearts}{5-Spades} and Hart quickly shoved his huge stack, easily covering Nicole. She didn't take long to release her hand.

Knutson's Aggression Takes It

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Lorne Gill opened the betting with a raise to 3,200 from the middle. Lyndon Knutson called from the cutoff, as did Deven Lane on the button.

The flop came down {a-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and Gill led out for 6,000. After a few seconds of thought, Knutson reraised to 15,000. That was enough to get Lane to muck his hand, but Gill called. The turn came {8-Spades} and Gill checked to Knutson who fired 20,000 into the middle. Gill thought for a few seconds, but decided to release his hand.

Joinson Decimates Bowers

Level 12 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Chris Bowers was first into the pot with a raise to 2,600 from the hijack. The cutoff called before Connor Joinson came over top with a raise to 7,900 from the button. Bowers called after a few seconds of thought, and the cutoff went deep into the tank.

Eventually he got out of the way, and the flop came down {q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}. BOwers checked and Joinson shoved his remaining 20,000 chips. Bowers quickly called, but was in with an underpair of sevens against the jacks of Joinson. {a-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} on the turn and river changed nothing, and Joinson grabbed a double while leaving Bowers on fumes.
