Rocket Fuel for Kniska

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

John Kniska raised from the under-the-gun position to 1,300 and was called by the Donnie Phan in the hijack as well as both players in the blinds.

After a flop of {8-Spades}{6-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}, both blinds checked and Kniska continued for 1,600. Phan folded, the small blind called, and the big blind folded.

On a {2-Clubs} turn, the small blind checked and then called the 3,200 bet from Kniska.

The river {8-Hearts} created a similar pattern with the small blind check-calling Kniska's bet of 5,000.

Kniska tabled {a-Clubs}{a-Spades} while the small blind revealed the {a-Hearts}, the final ace in the deck.

Mike Reynolds
Mike Reynolds

Shortly after coming back from the break, Mike Reynolds and Voytek Glab got in a preflop raising war that resulted in the former getting his stack all in.

Voytek Glab: {q-}{q-}

Reynolds, who was the big winner in last night's $5/$10 live-streamed no-limit hold'em cash game, was ahead with the bigger pocket pair and he shipped the double after the board ran out clean.

Yeung Wins One Before the Break

Level 4 : 200/300, 300 ante

Just before the break, five players limped before Jason "Bigboyyyyy" Yeung raised to 700 from the small blind. All the limpers, as well as the big blind, called and it was multi-way action to the flop, which came down {a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{9-Spades}. Action checked around and the {10-Diamonds} appeared on the turn.

Yeung bet 1,200 and only the player in the big blind called to see the {10-Spades} river. Yeung bet 8,000 and his opponent call. Yeung tabled the [x10h] for tens full and it was good as his opponent mucked.

Brinn Takes on "Bigboyyyyy"

Level 4 : 200/300, 300 ante
Jason "Bigboyyyyy" Yeung
Jason "Bigboyyyyy" Yeung

The under-the-gun player limped before Cody Brinn did the same next to act. Jason "Bigboyyyyy" Yeungthen raised to 1,200 from the hijack and both the UTG limper and Brinn called to see the {6-Clubs}{2-Spades}{10-Clubs} flop.

Two checks saw Yeung bet 2,200 and only Brinn called to see the {j-Hearts} turn.

Brinn proceeded to check-call a bet of 3,200 and then checked for the third time on the {5-Diamonds} river.

Yeung bet again, this time 4,400, and that did the trick as Brinn released his hand.

As the dealer was collecting 1,400 from each of four players, we joined the action in time to see the {q-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop.

The under-the-gun player led for 1,000 and was called by Brian Barros in middle position and the player in the hijack. The player in the cutoff folded.

On the {q-Diamonds} turn, the first two players checked before the player in the hijack bet 2,800. Both the under-the-gun player and Barros made the call.

After the {8-Diamonds} river, the player in the hijack bet his entire remaining 6,000 chips without waiting for action from the other players. Barros asked for clarification that if it is checked to that player, his bet remains. The dealer clarified that he was correct. After both players checked, the all-in became official. The under-the-gun player folded and Barros quickly called with his {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}, besting his opponent's {8-Clubs}{9-Spades}.

Barros counted his chips and declared, "Back to starting boys!"
