At 6:05 p.m. GMT, the second feature event of the PokerStars Blowout Series will kick off with the $215 NLHE [8-Max, The Big Blowout!] which offers players an amazing guaranteed prize pool of $5,000,000. The three-day event will crown a winner on Tuesday, January 5 as the second player ever to be able to crown themselves the Big Blowout champion.

"pilaa" from the Netherlands won the $109 NLHE – The Big Blowout! for $485,827 by coming out victorious in a 37,673-strong field. Jack "JBHInfinity" Hardcastle and Andreas "derbegott" Ponath are two of the more familiar names who took a seat at the final table too.

Players can reenter up to three times during the late registration period which will remain open for 24 hours from the start of the tournament, so until 6:05 p.m. on Monday, January 4. Players will get 25,000 in chips in their starting stacks and play 20-minute levels on Day 1. Day 1 will end at the end of Level 17. From Day 2 at 6:10 p.m. GMT, the level duration will be reduced to 12 minutes and will go up again when there are 90 players left.

The PokerStars Blowout Series started at the end of last year with $60,000,000 in prize pools guaranteed with one-third of it handed out during The Big Blowouts on Sundays. Thanks to promotions, tickets worth $2,000,000 have been and will be given away to players.
