Day 2 of the PokerStars Blowout Series: $215 NLHE [8-Max, The Big Blowout!] has come to an end after more than eight hours of play with 23 players making it through to the final day. They have all secured at least $10,887 out of the $6,371,000 prize pool but are all looking to grab that first-place prize of $632,426.

There were 29,463 entries on Day 1 and with the late registration and reentry period open until the delayed start of Day 2, another 2,392 were collected. The 23,994 unique players reentered 7,861 times to get to 31,855 entries in total and 4,463 of them got paid. No hand-for-hand play was needed for the bubble to burst in this big field.

Coming back for the final day with the chip lead is Romania's "UnHuman3" with a whopping 122,991,718 in chips, worth 154 big blinds when play resumes. They aren't the only Romanian players left in the field as "Sergiu "seserman01" Cornea" (55,211,856) and "Eduardnho11" (44,417,889) join them in the top five. The players preventing them from forming a top three are "Olegent" (77,440,795) and "DoEasyMoney" (62,808,998).

"UnHuman3" claimed the chip lead in the latter stages of the tournament after taking out Guilherme "gui2x" Oliveira and Rafael "RafaCorreaBR" Correa in quick succession but "€plov2" and Gustavo "gremistaAK" Pinto are still left in the running for Brazil.

Day 1 chip leader "Magdebob1993" had a bit of a swingy day but managed to survive with 31,311,886 chips in the end to end in the middle of the pack. Not everyone was that lucky though, Tom "hitthehole" Middleton, Ryan "HITTHEPANDA" Franklin, Teun "tinnoemulder" Mulder, Lucas "YRWTHMELTHR" Greenwood, Antonio "Biodelic420" Henrique, and Tsolmon "tsoomoo89" Ochir all made the top 100 but not Day 3.

When play resumes at 6:05 p.m. GMT on Tuesday, January 5 for Day 3, the remaining players will finish Level 53 which features a small blind of 400,000, a big blind of 800,000, and a running ante of 100,000. Once 16 players are left, the level duration will increase to 20 minutes each and play will continue until a champion can be crowned.
