Andrew Scarfo had become very short-stacked with just 4,000 remaining. When it folded to him, he chose to shove all-in with only Spiral Cor making the call to try and bust him.

Mark Smyth open-jammed for roughly 22,000 from early position and Stephen Cullen called for his last 10,500 from the button.

Cullen managed to stay ahead the entire way with his nines as the board came 7♥7♣8♠2♠Q♥. Cullen doubled up, where as Smyth was left with around 11,000 and eliminated a few hands later.

Zanas Lubys raised to 1,400 from the cutoff with Sammy O'Brien calling on the button and Kelly Shane defending out of the big blind.

The flop of K♦2♣8♦ got checked the O'Brien and he bet 5,200. Shane folded, but Lubys called.

Both players checked the 10♣ turn for the 7♥ to fall on the river. Lubys led out for 11,900 and O'Brien reluctantly called.

Lubys flipped over a turned set of tens with 10♠10♦ and O'Brien mucked.

It was a flip that Grealis needed to win to stay in the tournament. The J♣Q♥9♣ flop was a disaster for Grealis as Freeman improved to top set, leaving Grealis needing a ten to survive. The J♥ on the turn improved Freeman to a full house and left Grealis drawing dead as an inconsequential 6♦ came on the river.

Sean Foley opened the action with a raise to 1,000 from middle position. David Grealis called in the hijack and Stephen Freeman defended out of the big blind.

Freeman checked first on the 4♥2♠6♥ flop and Foley bet 1,500. Grealis immediately raised to 3,500 which only Foley called.

Both players checked down the 7♥ turn and 10♦ river and Grealis took down the pot with 9♣9♦ for a pair of nines.
