Sean Byrne raised to 2,000 under the gun with Stephen Houghland calling from the button before Hiep Ninh three-bet to 6,500 out of the small blind. Byrne folded, but Ninh called.

Ninh continued with a bet of 2,000 on the 38Q flop and Houghland called.

Ninh bet 7,500 when the 9 fell on the turn. Houghland didn't think for too long before folding and forfeiting the pot to Ninh.

Farrell Makes the Right Fold

Level 9 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Robbie Bryant
Robbie Bryant

The action was picked up with the flop showing 84A. Robbie Bryant checked from the big blind and Vilius Kadelskas bet 2,500 from early position. Des Farrell raised to 7,500 from the button before Bryant three-bet to 25,000.

Kadelskas thought it over for a while before folding, whereas Farrell snap-folded and showed Ax10x for top pair. Bryant was nice enough to show he had that beat with A8 for top two pair.

Nikitins Runs into Aces

Level 8 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Didzis Nikitins had become short-stacked with just 8,000 remaining in his stack. He decided to put them all into the middle preflop from early position and after the rest of the table folded, Rune Larder snap-called from the big blind.

Didzis Nikitins : KQ All in
Rune Larder : AA

Nikitins was unfortunate to run into aces and would need a lot of help from the dealer if he was to remain in his seat. The board ran out A7227 to give Larder a full house, and Nikitins was eliminated.

Wilson Sends Burnett Home

Level 8 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Peter Burnett shoved for around 33,000 from the small blind over an open from Simon Wilson out of the cutoff. Wilson took his time and after getting a count from the dealer, made the call to try and bust Burnett.

Peter Burnett : AK All in
Simon Wilson: 1010

It was a classic coin flip, and when the board ran out 945JQ, Wilson's pocket tens held up against Burnett's Big Slick, knocking him out of the tournament.
