Harland Starts to Chip Up

Level 7 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Kevan Brady limped in from middle position before Michael Harland raised to 1,700 from the button. Michael Gilligan called from the big blind and Brady called as well.

The action checked to Harland on the 282 flop and he bet 2,600. Gilligan called, but Brady folded.

Both players checked the 4 turn for the A to fall on the river. Gilligan checked, and Harland bet 5,100. Gilligan quickly folded and Harland pulled in the pot.

Mckay Almost Cracks Aces

Stefan Ebinger
Stefan Ebinger

Arriving at the table, Lee Mckay was all-in for his last 20,000 with Stefan Ebinger trying to send him to the rail.

Lee Mckay : A10 All in
Stefan Ebinger : AA

Mckay would need a miracle to crack the aces of Ebinger. The KJ7 flop did give Mckay a gutshot, as the 5 turn improved him to a flush draw. However, the 4 came on the river and Mckay was out.

Finlay Doesn't Unload the Clip

Level 7 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

With the flop showing 46A, Stephen Houghland check-called from the big blind to a bet of 1,500 from Gerard Finlay out of the cutoff.

The 9 came on the turn and Houghland check-called another bet from Finlay, this time for 5,000.

Both players checked the J river and Houghland flipped over 63 for just a pair of threes. It was good though as Finlay showed Q10 for just queen-high.
